Unlock your inner strength. Step into your true self.

Let's work together on what matters most to you.

I'm here to help, whether you're facing a specific challenge, going through a life transition, or simply want to feel more in control and fulfilled.

I'm a qualified counsellor, coach, and mentor supporting those who want to reconnect with their inner strength, move past what's holding them back, and step into the life they want to lead.

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or not quite yourself, you're not alone – and you don't have to figure it out alone.

My work is all about helping you reconnect with your inner strength, feel more like yourself again, and move towards a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling, no matter what stage you're at in your life.

Together, we'll work through what's important to you, whether it's your current challenges, past trauma, or self-limiting beliefs holding you back. My goal is to help you understand what's going on beneath the surface and to give you the tools to heal, grow and thrive.

Based in Great Dunmow and Stansted, I offer support in person and online.

You might be wondering why a unicorn?

The unicorn is more than a mythical creature. For me, unicorns represent something deeply personal and powerful. Over the last five years, they've grown to hold a special significance in my journey, personally and professionally.

Unicorns are symbols of inner strength, purpose, healing, and wisdom. Often seen as guides, they are gentle yet powerful beings who help others reconnect with their truth and follow their dreams.

That mirrors my transition into therapeutic work and coaching – supporting others to rediscover their strengths, find clarity, and move forward with confidence.

Much like the people I work with, unicorns remind us of what's possible when we tap into our inner potential. They inspire us to grow, heal, and become the best version of ourselves – authentic, courageous, and purposeful.

And the name?

Lurue is known in mythology as the queen of unicorns – a symbol of grace, wisdom, and gentle power. It felt like the perfect name for the practice I’ve built with intention, heart, and hope.

Working with Julia has been an incredibly valuable and empowering experience. Her coaching style strikes a rare and powerful balance between professionalism and a deeply human-centred approach.

What truly stood out to me was not just her expertise, but the way she consistently creates a safe and respectful space where I feel heard, supported and constructively challenged.
